About this organization
Carolina Human Reinvestment South Carolina (CHRSC) is a nonprofit organization that helps children, youth, families, and the broader Georgetown County community build healthier, stronger futures. CHRSC provides afterschool and summer programs, hands-on gardening and agricultural education, access to fresh food, and community-based programs that teach youth leadership and life skills. Through its afterschool program, community garden, school gardens, FoodShare Georgetown, and other partnerships, CHRSC connects people with opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
Mission: Our mission is to instill transformative life skills that build bridges to a better future for our youth and engage our community.
