About Connect Georgetown
A free, resident-first directory of nonprofit and community services across Georgetown County — built so that finding help takes minutes, not a dozen phone calls.
Why this exists
Georgetown County has dozens of organizations doing real work — food pantries, housing assistance, senior care, workforce training — but that information has always lived in scattered flyers, word of mouth, and outdated PDFs. Connect Georgetown puts it in one place, kept current, and searchable by what someone actually needs.
We are not a service provider ourselves. We are a directory: every listing points to a real organization, run by the people who do the work.
How it works
For residents
Search or browse by category and community. Every listing shows real hours, eligibility, and how to make contact — no guesswork.
For organizations
List your services for free. Update your own profile any time from your dashboard — hours, contact info, and upcoming events.
How we verify
New and updated listings are checked against the organization directly before they publish, and we ask every listed organization to reconfirm their details periodically.
What we stand for
- Always free. For residents searching, and for organizations listing.
- Resident-first. We list what is actually available, not what looks best.
- No referral required. Anyone can search the directory without an account.
- Kept current. Stale listings help no one, so we check in with every organization regularly.
