About this organization
The Village Group (TVG) helps children and families in rural Georgetown County, South Carolina, build stronger futures through education, enrichment, and opportunity. We serve primarily Kβ12 students through summer and afterschool learning, academic support, STEM and robotics, college and career readiness, cultural education, and hands-on experiences that broaden their view of what is possible. Our work also engages families and community partners to strengthen the environment surrounding our young people. At its heart, TVG equips youth with the knowledge, skills, experiences, and confidence to succeed in school, pursue meaningful careers, and contribute to their communities.
