Teach My People
Teach My People is an academically-focused, Christ-centered Afterschool and Summer Camp Program.

About this organization
TMP welcomes ten rising first grade students (per campus) into our program into our “closed enrollment” program where we support them until high school graduation. This gives TMP 12 years to partner with the student, their family and the school for the betterment of the child.
Our Afterschool program “extends the school day” by completing homework and 70+ volunteers for tutoring and providing academic enrichment, supporting what each student is learning in school. Our 6-week Summer Camp is a fun-packed, academic program providing learning experiences so our students return to school academically prepared and comparative to their peers.
Mission: Teach My People’s MISSION is to teach children and youth in our partnering schools to overcome academic, economic, and social challenges and impact families through the delivery of Christ-centered programs and services that promote spiritual, educational, and emotional growth

- Eligibility requirements
- All of our students come from families who are working to overcome the obstacles of generational poverty. Our students when first entering our program have poor levels of academic preparedness, self-esteem and life aspirations. They also may lack positive peer support and effective study habits. These students are typically at a higher risk of dropping out of school and never returning. All of our services are always at no-cost to the families we serve.
